Reacts equally with free cardiac troponin I (cTnl) and cTnl forming complexes with other troponin components. Not effected by heparin, phosphorylation and oxidation. Recognizes an epitope located between amino acid residues 83 and 93 of cTnI. No cross reactivity with skeletal muscle troponin I.
