How Capillary Electrophoresis Western Blotting Works

RayBiotech’s Auto-Western Blot Service uses a highly accurate and precise capillary immunoassay method. As little as 40 nL of sample is loaded into the automated capillary system, where proteins are separated by size. After separation is complete, the proteins are immobilized to the capillary walls. Target proteins are identified using a primary antibody and immunoprobed using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and chemiluminescent substrate. The resulting chemiluminescent signal is detected and quantified.

Applicants must be actively enrolled or employed by an academic research institute in the USA, a nonprofit or not-for-profit research institution in the USA, a USA government institution, or any USA-based commercial entity affiliated with the life sciences or biomedical sciences. Applicants must have either earned a post-graduate degree (PhD, MD, DVM, MS or equivalent degree) in a biological, biochemical, biomedical or related field, or be currently enrolled in an accredited institution to earn such a degree.
