| Purity Determined By | Eggs are infected by the amniotic route, incubated for 72 hours and refrigerated overnight. Amniotic fluids are harvested from live eggs and the embryos are washed in PBS. The suspension was concentrated using cross-flow ultracentrifugation system with 30, 000 molecular weight cut off. The concentrate is sonicated and clarified using low speed centrifugation. This preparation contains a high concentration of viral antigens as well as some egg proteins in PBS. |

| Recommended Applications | Application: Suitable for use in Immunoassay. This antigen preparation should be sonicated with a microtip immediately prior to use to ensure that the preparation is uniform. A precipitate may form upon thawing, due to high product concentration. Dilute prior to clarification or other manipulation. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded. |
