229-20239, purified human immunoglobulin lambda light-chain, is a 23 kDa protein. The light-chains of antibodies contain variable (V) and constant (C) regions. Lambda light chains are distinguished from kappa light chains by multiple structural differences in their constant regions which contribute to differences to antibody specificity.
