Bst DNA Polymerase V2 is derived from Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA Polymerase I. It possesses strong 5′→3′ DNA polymerase activity and robust strand displacement capability, while lacking 5′→3′ exonuclease activity. This enzyme is ideally suited for strand-displacement-based applications, including LAMP (Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification) and rapid sequencing. WS Bst DNA Polymerase V2 is a hot-start version of Bst DNA Polymerase V2, developed through reversible modification technology. This modification effectively suppresses polymerase activity at room temperature, allowing users to set up reactions at ambient conditions without the risk of non-specific amplification. The hot-start mechanism enhances reaction specificity and efficiency and is fully compatible with lyophilization. Notably, the enzyme’s activity is automatically restored at elevated temperatures, eliminating the need for a separate activation step.

The amount of enzyme required to incorporate 25 nmol of dNTP into acid-insoluble substances within 30 min at 65°C is defined as 1 unit of activity.

Incubate at 60-65°C for 30-60 minutes.
Optional heat inactivation: 85°C for 5 minutes.
