Description
HGFR is a protein possesses tyrosine kinase activity. The primary single chain precursor protein is post-translationally cleaved to produce the alpha and beta subunits, which are disulfide linked to form the mature receptor. HGFR is a membrane receptor that is essential for embryonic development and wound healing. Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) is the only known ligand of the HGFR receptor. HGFR is normally expressed by cells of epithelial origin, while expression of HGF is restricted to cells of mesenchymalorigin. Upon HGF stimulation, HGFR induces several biological responses that collectively give rise to a program known as invasive growth.

Product is supplied as a powder obtained from lyophilization of purified antibody in citric acid solution. Reconstitute the antibody with sterile water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.

Storage
The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
