GMP Recombinant Human IL-7 Protein is produced in GMP compliance facility designed under ISO 13485:2016, cGMP, and ISO 17025:2017 certifications utilizing animal-origin free and beta-lactam free materials under stringent quality management.
SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions and visualized by Coomassie blue staining
Molecular Weight (kDa)
The recombinant human IL-7 protein has predicted molecular weight of 17.3 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates as a major band at about 30 kDa and a minor band at about 25 kDa on SDS-PAGE gel under reducing conditions.
Format
White powder
Formulation
Lyophilized powder from sterile filtered PBS, pH 7.4, with stabilizers.
Reconstitution
Briefly spin the vial and bring the contents to the bottom prior to opening. It is recommended to reconstitute at 0.5-1.0 mg/mL with sterile deionized water or 1x PBS.
Endotoxin Level
< 10 EU per mg of protein as determined by the LAL method

Activity
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using PHA-P-activated human peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC). The EC50 for this effect is 0.18-0.34 ng/mL.
Host Cell DNA
Lot specific. Contact us for information.
Host Cell Protein
0.13 ng/µg of protein tested by ELISA
Mycoplasma
Negative
Usage
GMP-grade reagent. Not for direct human use.
Storage/Stability
Upon arrival, the lyophilized protein may be stored for 2 weeks at 4°C. For long term storage, it is recommended to store desiccated below -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Following reconstitution, the protein may be stored for 2 weeks under sterile conditions at -20°C. For long term storage, it is recommended to make appropriate aliquots and store at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
