Immunogen	Immunogen was KLH carrier protein. This antibody was obtained from a mice immunized with the immunogen, then fusion, selection and identification. The identified clone was called as 11E8F5C3. This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells derived from the immunized mouse. The IgM fraction of cell culture supernatant was purified by affinity chromatography.

Description

The most commonly used carrier proteins are KLH (Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin), BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) and OVA (Ovalbumin). These carrier proteins have different properties. KLH is the largest, heterogeneous glycosylated protein consisting of subunits. The largest has a molecular weight (MW) in the range 4.5 x 105 - 1.3 107 .

Storage / Stability

The antibody is stable for at least 1 year from the date of receipt when stored at -20°C to -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquotted and stored at 4°C for 1 month or at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer for many months without detectable loss activity. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
